Kapeesh is an LA based improv team started by Ben Schwartz and Eric Appel, which defeated the standing champions Convoy. Schwartz left to return to New York after the win and Appel teamed up with Colton Dunn to form Kaploosh. The team of Appel and Dunn stayed a constant until Appel was forced out due to obligations, such as marriage, honey moon, etc during this time Dun teamed up with various improv performers each time changing the team name to some similiar version.
Appel returned Kaploosh with Dunn to face off against 'Kaddamit' a team containing former Dunn teammate Jordan Peele (mad tv), the match was a tie. Will (the host) brought up two other UCB members and an audience vote based on applause was conducting, during this time where the 3 men tried to gauge the audience reaction the two teams reached and agreement to combine both teams and form Kadammit.
Kadammit ended their reign of the Cagematch (UCB) on January 28th. Their final suggestion was 'Hector Santa Cruz'
